Hands of Healing Empowered 2026
It was a wonderful day!
The Hands of Healing: Empowered Wellness Expo was more than an event; it was a day of community, service, wellness, connection, and joy.
Held on August 15, 2026, the outdoor community event brought together families, volunteers, vendors, small businesses, community organizations, and wellness resources in one welcoming space. Throughout the day, attendees were able to explore community tables, enjoy refreshments, participate in activities, and spend time connecting with organizations committed to supporting healthier families and stronger communities.
Wellness Beyond Healthcare
Hands of Healing: Empowered Wellness recognizes that good health involves much more than medical care. A healthy community is also strengthened by access to information, supportive services, education, safe spaces, positive relationships, recreation, and opportunities for families to connect.
The expo created an environment where community members could interact directly with organizations and vendors, learn about available resources, ask questions, and discover services designed to support everyday needs.
Community Partners and Vendors
Our vendors and community partners played an important role in making the day successful. The event grounds were filled with organizations, entrepreneurs, resource providers, and local businesses sharing information and products with attendees.
From wellness resources and community services to refreshments and local vendors, the expo highlighted the importance of bringing resources directly into the community.
Youth, Family and Fun
Children and young people were at the heart of the day.
The event included youth performances, dancing, music, face painting, refreshments, games, a bounce house, and plenty of room for children to simply enjoy being outside together. Youth performers brought energy to the field, while families gathered throughout the grounds to watch, participate, and celebrate. The laughter, smiles, and excitement of the children were some of the most memorable moments of the entire event.
Volunteers Made It Possible
Behind every successful community event are people willing to serve.
Our Hands of Healing team and volunteers assisted with registration, event coordination, refreshments, activities, vendor support, setup, cleanup, and countless details throughout the day. Their willingness to step in wherever needed helped create a welcoming experience for everyone who attended.
We are especially grateful for those who worked throughout the heat and sunshine to make sure our guests, vendors, children, and community partners were supported.
Supporting Local Businesses
The expo also provided an opportunity to showcase local entrepreneurs and small businesses. Food, beverages, personal care products, handmade items, and other services added another important dimension to the event.
Supporting local businesses strengthens the economic health of our communities while giving entrepreneurs opportunities to build relationships with new customers and community partners.
Music That Brought Everyone Together
Music helped bring the entire event to life. From background music throughout the day to dancing under the pavilion, people of all ages joined together to have fun.
The dance area quickly became one of the places where generations came together; children, parents, volunteers, entertainers, and community members moving, laughing, and enjoying the moment.
